Andar Driver ("the App") is operated by RushPoint IT Solutions ("we", "us", "our") for use by
drivers and helpers performing towing and roadside assistance jobs dispatched through the Andar
platform. This policy explains what information the App collects, why, and how it is used.
Information We Collect
- Account information: your name, login credentials, and driver/helper role, used to identify you and assign jobs.
- Location data: your device's GPS location while using the App, used to show your position to dispatch, calculate routes, and confirm arrival at pickup/dropoff locations.
- Camera and photos: photos you take within the App (e.g. proof of pickup, proof of delivery, vehicle inspection, payment confirmation) are uploaded to document completed jobs.
- Job and trip data: assigned jobs, trip status, timestamps, payment/remittance records, and vehicle usage tied to your account.
- Push notification token: a device identifier used to deliver job alerts and notifications to your phone, even when the App is closed.
- Device information: basic technical information such as browser/app version and device type, used for troubleshooting and security.
How We Use Your Information
- To assign, track, and manage dispatch jobs
- To notify you of new job assignments and status updates
- To verify completed work (proof of pickup/delivery, vehicle inspections)
- To calculate payments, remittances, and trip history
- To maintain the security and reliability of the App
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. Information collected through the App is shared only
internally within RushPoint IT Solutions and its dispatch/administrative systems for the purpose
of operating the Andar platform, and with infrastructure providers (such as Google Firebase, used
to deliver push notifications) strictly to provide the App's functionality.
Data Retention
We retain job, trip, and account data for as long as your account is active and as required for
operational, financial, and legal record-keeping purposes.
Your Choices
- Location access can be disabled in your device settings, though this will limit dispatch's ability to assign and track jobs.
- Notification permissions can be disabled in your device settings, though you may miss timely job alerts.
- You may request account deletion or data removal by contacting us using the details below, subject to legal/financial record-keeping requirements.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by employed or contracted drivers and helpers and is not directed at children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
